Much of what gives a music video, commercial or fashion film its visual identity happens after the camera stops rolling. That often-invisible territory is where visual effects artist Baitong Monseu has made her mark.

Baitong is the founder of Magic Soup Studio, a post-production house built on one obsession: bringing imagination to life on screen. Outgoing and endlessly curious, she is a visual effects artist who would rather explore than repeat – open to any idea, quick to test new ways of working, and always pairing advanced technology with the craft of compositing and finishing to reach images that weren't possible a few years ago. For her, the tools are only interesting for what they let a story become.

Her credits show considerable range. In music video, Baitong has contributed visual effects for artists including Stray Kids, Keshi, Yung Kai, HYOKOH and 4EVE, adapting her approach to the visual language of each release. Her commercial and branded-content work includes projects for VERSACE, DIOR, KARL LAGERFELD and PUMA.

Magic Soup Studio gives that individual practice a wider purpose. Working with local and international productions, the studio provides high-end post-production while giving Thai creative talent opportunities to develop experience with professional workflows and international production standards.
