Best known as vocalist and guitarist of Yellow Fang, Pimporn "Pang" Metchanun has spent much of her creative life both on stage and making room for others to reach it. Yellow Fang began among students at Chulalongkorn University’s Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts and went on to perform at festivals across Asia, including Japan’s Summer Sonic. The trio’s reach helped carry Thai independent music to audiences well beyond home.

Pang then widened her role by co-founding Have You Heard?, an independent concert promoter that has developed into a full-service music promotion agency. Its work brings international indie artists to Thailand while creating opportunities for Thai musicians to share stages with global acts. She is also part of the team behind Maho Rasop Festival, a meeting point for local and international independent music.

Her interests extend into electronic music and underground club culture. As DJ Zombie, she has become part of Bangkok’s independent music community, with previous roles as a music curator at Beam Club and Siwilai. She is also a partner of Bar Temp., a grassroots club and creative space for local artists, DJs and creative communities.

Across these ventures, her work reflects a strong affinity for subcultures and creative communities, with an instinct to give alternative voices more space and connect Thailand’s independent creatives with wider audiences.
