At Ricci Italian Restaurant & Crudo Bar, freshness forms the core of the restaurant and guides its philosophy. Aptly known as the King of Seafood, the essence of the Italian coast reaches each table, with every ingredient treated simply and with respect for its natural flavour.
Located on the first floor of Gaysorn Village, the restaurant showcases the finest ingredients from the sea and combines craftsmanship, elegance and attention to detail in every aspect of the dining experience.
Behind the creative dishes are Chef Alessandro Frau and Chef Virginia Messina. Originally from Sardinia, Chef Frau brings more than two decades of fine-dining experience rooted in coastal Italian tradition where seafood holds a central place. His approach reflects respect for ingredients with each dish guided by natural qualities and a sense of balance.
Chef Messina brings a contemporary perspective to the menu. With experience in high-level kitchens, she focuses on crudo, the Italian tradition of serving raw seafood lightly dressed with olive oil, citrus juice and seasonings to enhance its natural flavour. Her passion for crudo is evident across the restaurant’s raw seafood offerings.
Together, the two chefs shape Ricci’s culinary philosophy. Their work brings together tradition and innovation with a consistent standard of quality, resulting in a dining experience rooted in Italian heritage.
As the chefs’ culinary philosophy emphasises raw seafood in its purest form, the menu centres on crudo, setting the tone for the entire dining experience at Ricci. Each ingredient stands out for its texture and the character of the sea.
Signature dishes include Sicilian red prawn tartare served with avocado, lemon and caviar, which offers a clean flavour. Bluefin tuna carpaccio with caviar and sea urchin follows, lifted by lime and extra virgin olive oil. Cantabrian anchovies San Filippo selezione is served with grilled ciabatta, tomato and basil, highlighting the simplicity of flavours.

At the centre of the menu sits calamarata, a signature dish of thick ring pasta with mixed seafood sauce. Lobster catalana features lobster poached and dressed with extra virgin olive oil and lemon with tomatoes and marinated onions.

Other main dishes include grilled seabass, lamb rack and Japanese rib eye, served with roasted potatoes and portobello mushrooms. Desserts feature chocolate lava with Sicilian pistachio ice cream, tiramisu and rum baba with mixed berries. All is artfully arranged, reflecting the elegance and purity of the seafood.
