Bangkok Design Week is back from 4–12 February for its sixth edition, this year presented under the theme of “urban-NICE-zation”.
As cities transform into megacities, problems like overcrowding, environmental concerns, resource management, and social inequality intensify on a daily basis. These fundamental challenges of any large urban centre are the foundation of this year’s exhibitions, installations, and interventions, each seeing Bangkok staged as a huge playground to bounce ideas around, to promote a better-balanced city for everyone.
