American alt-rock band Wallows has announced that its Tell Me That It’s Over World Tour is making stops in Asia, including in Bangkok. The trio will be popping by The Big Mango on February 20, 2023, to perform at Moonstar Studio, after Singapore and before heading to Seoul, South Korea.
The band kicked off the tour earlier this year in April with sold-out concerts in North America, followed by Australia and New Zealand. The group will be performing in the UK and Europe next, early 2023, before beginning the Asian leg of their tour.
Based in Los Angeles, the indie rock group includes Dylan Minnette, Braeden Lemasters, and Cole Preston. In 2019, they released their debut album Nothing Happens, which featured breakthrough double platinum single “Are You Bored Yet (Feat. Clairo)”. The trio spent most of 2021 making the album Tell Me That It’s Over with Grammy-winner producer Ariel Rechtshaid. The album features four singles—”I Don’t Want to Talk”, “Especially You”, “At the End of the Day”, and “Marvelous”—and is a continuation of their sonic exploration of lo-fi, post-punk, indie-folk, and ‘90s dance-pop psychedelia.
Tickets to the Wallows concert in Bangkok in February 2023 are priced at 2,200 baht. Get tickets at ticketmelon.com.
