Co-founder & CEO, Sleek EV
Industry : Business
For Kantinan “Ben” Tunveenukoon, building an electric motorcycle is only half the job. The other challenge is creating the infrastructure that makes owning and running one genuinely practical. As co-founder and CEO of Sleek EV, he is tackling both sides of that equation.
Founded in 2022, the Thai start-up develops affordable battery-powered motorcycles while building an ecosystem around them. Its vehicles incorporate IoT technology, while the company’s S-Charge network addresses one of electric mobility’s most immediate practical questions: where and how riders charge. Maintenance and after-sales accessibility form another part of Ben’s focus.
That broader thinking distinguishes the venture from a simple vehicle play. Sleek EV has developed multiple electric motorcycle models and expanded its dealer network as it seeks to make the switch to electric more workable for everyday riders. Design, engineering and infrastructure are treated as interconnected rather than separate concerns.
Ben’s work also places him within Thailand’s wider transition towards cleaner transport. His proposition is essentially pragmatic: sustainability will only scale if the technology fits comfortably into people’s lives. By concentrating on the everyday barriers surrounding electric motorcycles as well as the machines themselves, he is helping turn cleaner urban mobility from an appealing concept into a more usable proposition.
