As a film and arts enthusiast, Kawintra “Mai '' Wongsawasdi reached into her passion, procuring an education in Film and Television from London College of Communication, University of the Arts London, and is pursuing an MBA from Sasin School of Management. She has worked as an independent art curator and art consultant for multiple galleries and art projects, and is now, as an artist liaison at 333 Gallery, she is helping with art exhibitions by represented as well as independent artists. One of the perks of her work is being able to hang out with artists at their studios, observing the creative processes. Sometimes she curates and also advises art buyers and collectors. Her idea of giving back to the community is to make art accessible to everyone, while her personal goals include curating a show outside Thailand and starting her own podcast, and opening her own small art consultant business. She is proud of being able to create a balance between her mental health, family, social life and love life, but if things get rough, she resorts to meditation, mindful activities and good food.
