Aside from teaching, Phuvadol also conducts research in forensic genetics, undertakes community service and helps to train police officers in the use of forensics to solve crimes. A consultant to forensic DNA analysts and laywers, he also has business interests in laboratories and retail outlets. His main obstacle is time, which he says he never seems to have enough of. And his motivation? "My wife. She is a much better researcher, innovator and entrepreneur than me!"
