A graduate of the National Institute of Dramatic Art in Australia, Peem Poolpol is one of Thailand’s leading lighting and production design experts for stage and other forms of entertainment. He is the founder of Saturate Designs, an organisation that works on unique conceptual designs for festivals, live music, installation projects, film and more. Peem’s main role is to work with artists to imagine and create concepts within lighting and production and over the years he has had the opportunity to collaborate with major artists and bands in arenas and large scale projects such as the Big Mountain Music Festival, the Joox Music Awards, Dj. David Guetta and others. In a future ripe with live entertainment and exhibitions, Peem hopes to make stage lighting design an attractive career in Thailand. He is currently working on his own art and lighting installation project and says, “My credo is that the design comes first, the budget comes later.”
