Nanthaporn J Seributra, also known as Dr Prae, is an educator, education technologist, change-maker, and advocate for educational equity through technology. She founded Starfish Education with the goal of providing a comprehensive educational ecosystem, including a school, a professional development institute, an online learning and community platform, and a skill assessment app. Her previous role as an education development executive for Apple Inc in Thailand and Singapore equipped her for this mission. Dr. Prae takes pride in the evolution of Starfish Education—comprising Starfish Academy, Starfish Labz, and Starfish Class—into a nationwide beacon of learning. The initiatives have impacted more than 7.3 million teachers, parents and students. The next venture on her agenda is the launch of Starfish Learning Hub, an experiential learning ecosystem designed to cultivate future skills which transcends traditional schooling by merging hands-on agricultural practices, innovative design, cultural exploration and social entrepreneurship. For inspiration, she turns to The Wisdom of Tea: Life Lessons from the Japanese Tea Ceremony by Noriko Morishita. Dr Prae's passions include cooking, enjoying great food and wine, and diving. She is also a certified personal trainer and nutrition coach.
