Nachale, or Hua, is a trans woman activist dedicated to advancing transgender rights and advocating for issues such as marriage equality, legal gender recognition, and gender-affirming care coverage with the National Health Security Office. Hua holds an MSA degree in Public and Community Health from Trinity Washington University. Her professional journey spans local non-profit organisations to international entities and networks. Hua became the first transgender programme supervisor, and is currently president, at Sisters Foundation, a prominent transgender-led organisation in Thailand. She is also a founding member and vice president of the Foundation of Transgender Alliance for Human Rights (TGA) and served as the inaugural coordinator of the Asia-Pacific Transgender Network (APTN). Notably, she played a key role in coordinating the development of the Asia Pacific Transgender Health Blueprint in 2014 and 2015. In 2019, Hua took on the role of Transgender and Gender Non-binary Health Advisor at Apicha Community Health Center in New York City, overseeing trans health services for trans and gender non-binary patients. In 2020, she joined the Astraea Lesbian Foundation for Justice, where she contributes to implementing bilateral partnerships, including reporting, compliance, and programmatic elements.
