Industry :

Business

Social :

Earning degrees in both computer science from Thammasat, and fashion and advertising photography from San Francisco’s Academy of Art University gave Thanaboon a combination of skills that have made him successful in the design industry, in advertising, community management, digital marketing and creative consultation. After volunteering to help flood relief efforts, he turned his back on a successful career as a fashion photographer to concentrate on creating social impact initiatives. He launched CreativeMOVE in 2009 as a social innovation agency to create social impact through creativity, art and design. In 2012, he launched Creative Citizen, a network of changemakers comprising creative and design professionals and artists. Then in 2017, after working late and checking into a convenience store to find something to eat, he saw the scale of “fast food” available on the shelves compared to the farmer’s market from his student days in San Francisco. As a result, he launched Greenery, as a sustainable lifestyle platform for consumers, providing correct information for healthy consumption and a healthy planet under the concept “eat good, live green”. This is soon to be scaled up as a social enterprise, and with his penchant for creative innovation, we can be sure to expect more.
