Oasis: Don’t Look Back In Anger comes to Thai cinemas and IMAX from 11–13 September 2026.

“So Sally can wait, she knows it’s too late as we’re walking on by.” It is Britpop’s defining anthem for letting bygones be bygones, but no two people on Earth have struggled with that lesson quite like the Gallagher brothers. Chronicling one of the most monumental comebacks in modern history – a reunion that was a long time coming and truly “biblical” – Oasis: Don’t Look Back In Anger is heading to Thai cinemas. The feature documentary will enjoy an exclusive three-day run from 11–13 September 2026, including IMAX screenings.

Premiering at the 83rd Venice International Film Festival, the project seems to be in good hands. With a script by Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight, directing duties have fallen to Will Lovelace and Dylan Southern, whom indie-electro heads may know from Shut Up and Play the Hits, which documented DFA’s finest North American scum calling it quits, only to hit reset in 2016. Having already filmed one “final” gig at Madison Square Garden, the directors are a natural fit to capture the other end of the rock ‘n’ roll spectrum: Noel and Liam noisily getting the band back together.

Executive producers Sam Bridger and Guy Heeley lead an acclaimed technical crew: sound mixers James Mather and Tarn Willers, cinematographer Haris Zambarloukos, and editors George Cragg and Martina Zamolo.
