Explore a historic Bangkok market transformed by inclusive floral art and traditional sampans at RakDok Floral Weeks 2026 this July.

If you fancy a bit of floral magic, RakDok Floral Weeks 2026 is taking over Hua Takhe Old Riverfront Market from 4 July to 2 August. Located just outside Suvarnabhumi Airport, the event features floral art, crafts, workshops and dreamy photo ops across 20 riverside spots, with traditional sampans floating by to complete the vintage look.

The lineup is wonderfully diverse, spreading 20 artworks across those 20 locations. You will find 11 installations from the recent Floral Art Competition 2026 finalists, 8 from the RakDok crew and 1 piece by a visually impaired artist, highlighting the festival’s commitment to welcoming creators from all walks of life.

This isn’t just about pretty blooms and clever floristry, though. It is a proper community revitalisation project that brings together bright colours and local history, splashing a burst of life and old-town charm across those rustic, historic storefronts.

Your best bet for getting to Hua Takhe Old Riverfront Market is hopping off at the Airport Rail Link Lad Krabang station. Because even though the market is technically in Bangkok, it is right on the edge, practically in Samut Prakan.

If you have a friend landing at Suvarnabhumi Airport, it makes the perfect first stop to explore together. Just make sure to head over between 10am-6pm and keep an eye on RakDok’s Facebook and Instagram pages for all the latest updates.
