What Are Thai Stars Choosing to Carry Into This Year?

A full roundup of celebrities sharing what habits, thoughts and energy they’re taking from last year into the new one.

So… how are we finding January so far?

New year energy is everywhere. People are setting fresh goals and chasing new themes. But what if not everything from last year needs to be dropped? What if there’s unfinished business, a mindset or a habit that’s actually worth carrying forward?

This Koktail Kurious edition is turning away from the usual ‘new year, new me’ talk and leaning into something more real. We’re asking celebrities what from last year they’re still choosing to bring with them into the new year.

Because growth isn’t always about starting over. Sometimes it’s about continuing what already works.

Let’s hear what they had to say below.

Kanawut “Gulf” Traipipattanapong

Looking ahead, Gulf is focused on building meaningful connections.

“If we’re talking about work, especially fashion, next month I’ll have the chance to attend Milan Fashion Week. This year, I’m really looking forward to meeting people, creating new connections and getting to know more international creatives and fellow actors.”

Jane: “Whatever I’m taking forward this year, Kao’s coming with me.”
Kao: “Exactly. Jane’s coming with me too”
Jane: Kao goes on, Jane goes on too. Seven nine nine seven goes on as well.”

(A cheeky joke on Jane’s name, with ‘seven’ in Thai sounding similar, while Kao means ‘nine’ in Thai.)

Chawarin “Nunew” Perdpiriyawong & Pruk “Zee” Panich

For them, it’s about levelling up their work.

Zee: “I don’t think there’s anything specific to carry forward because last year we gave everything our best. This year, we just want to give even more than we did before.”

Nunew: “I feel the same. This year, there’ll probably be a lot of things we get to do that we didn’t manage last year. Even though we actually did so much already and everything turned out really well, this year should be even better. We genuinely want to keep building on it. A lot of things from last year already feel complete.”

Kantapon “Offroad” Jindataweephol

This year, Offroad is turning the volume up on music.

“What I really want to continue is my music. I’ve already released a few tracks, and this year I’m working on a new album. I’ll keep the details a secret for now.”

“For me, what I want to continue from last year is my series work. Last year, my first project was the Clairebell series, and I’d love to carry that on by doing a second series under my company.”

“As for me, what I want to continue is supporting her and helping her dreams come true. I’m her supporter.”
