We’re almost at the end of the year, and as the weather begins to cool, November continues with a full line-up of food, film, art, culture and family-friendly events across Bangkok.

The floating international book fair MV Doulos Hope is back in Bangkok for its second visit since 2023. The ship carries English-language books on education, culture and family themes, supported by 160 volunteers from 37 countries. Governor Chadchart Sittipunt welcomed the ship’s return, highlighting its mission of sharing knowledge and hope across the world.
Entry: 20 THB (cash only). Children under 12 and adults 65+ enter free.

Weekends at Bull & Bear on Level 55 now feature a Surf & Turf semi-buffet with fresh seafood, premium cuts, and panoramic city views. Guests can enjoy Gillardeau oysters, Jamón Ibérico, Wagyu beef tartare, lobster bisque or consommé, followed by a sharing platter of Hokkaido scallops, grilled prawns, Norwegian salmon, and three cuts of meat including Japanese A4 Wagyu rib eye. Signature sides and a dessert counter complete the experience.

Gourmet One Group, the U.S. Meat Export Federation and Certified Angus Beef (CAB) have launched the “American Beef Feast 2025”, running from 10 November to 31 December. Premium American beef will be presented at 30 hotels and restaurants across Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Pattaya, Phuket and Khon Kaen. Cuts from CAB, Swift, 1855, and Imperial American Wagyu will also be available at 21 Tops Food Hall branches for home cooking.
This campaign highlights U.S. beef quality standards and supports festive dining throughout Thailand.

Rookie teams up with The StandardX for a sustainable flea market featuring more than 30 curated secondhand and vintage stalls. Expect riverside views, a rooftop party at The Roof, and music inspired by Thai funk and molam.

Thailand’s leading portrait competition returns for its fifth year. Under the theme LIFE: Growth, Dream, and Failure, 65 finalists have been selected from nationwide submissions. Prizes include the Portrait Prize (500,000 THB), Youth Prize (100,000 THB), Packing Room Prize (200,000 THB), and the People’s Choice Prize (100,000 THB).
The winners will be announced during the award ceremony at River City Bangkok.

The annual night-time art festival returns, starting in Chiang Mai (14–15 November) and continuing in Bangkok (21–22 November). One highlight is a free linocut workshop at TCDC Bangkok, where participants can print their own artwork with guidance from printmaking artists.

The November film in TK Park’s Contemporary World Film Series is La Petite Vadrouille (Love Boat), a French situational comedy directed by Bruno Podalydès. The story follows a scheme-filled “romantic” boat trip where a married woman, her husband and their friends stage a low-budget luxury cruise to extract €14,000 from a wealthy investor. The film is packed with lively characters and light-hearted moments.
The screening is supported by the Embassy of France, and the Ambassador will introduce the film. A reception follows.

Bangkok’s long-running charity fair returns to Bangkok Patana School. Expect family activities, rides, games, Father Christmas, live entertainment, food stalls, shopping and a large charity raffle. The fair opens with a moment of silence in honour of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, The Queen Mother. Guests are asked to wear muted or neutral colours.

A performance combining contemporary dance with the rhythm and heritage of Isan’s morlam. Created by Jitti Chompee and Alexandre Fandard, the two-part performance explores culture, improvisation and identity.

KAYAKI, known for its Japanese grilled fish (yakizakana), opens its second branch at Central Embassy, following the success of its Sukhumvit 49 location. The new space features counter-bar seating, city views and an outdoor terrace. To mark the opening, KAYAKI introduces “Tenkai – The Art of Seven Bites”, a tasting set priced at 1,290 THB, featuring premium cuts including chutoro, hotate, salmon, Aka Ebi and unagi. Lobster, eel and tamago are exclusive to this branch. A grilled lobster sando is also offered as an add-on.
