Bangkok Art Walk continues this May with a special edition at Pak Khlong Talat, turning Bangkok’s well known flower market into a large open air gallery for three days. Taking place from 8–10 May 2026, the event brings more than 30 Thai and international artists, alongside live music, traditional performances and street side exhibitions in one of the city’s oldest districts.
Set among rows of fresh flowers and long standing market shops, the event stretches through the historic neighbourhood surrounding Chak Phet Road and Maharaj Road. Pak Khlong Talat is now known as Thailand’s largest flower market and remains one of Bangkok’s busiest local areas, filled with activity from day to night.
Throughout the event, artists will create paintings live in front of visitors, turning the pavements and market walkways into informal creative spaces. Rather than a traditional gallery setting, Bangkok Art Walk keeps the experience close to everyday city life, allowing people to stop, observe and interact with artists as they work.
Live pop and jazz performances will take place across the weekend, while Khon performances add a connection to Thai cultural traditions. The music, performances and artwork create a lively atmosphere that combines contemporary art with the character of the neighbourhood itself.
The event follows earlier Bangkok Art Walk programmes held along Chakkraphatdi Phong Road and Lan Luang, where art markets, craft stalls, cycling activities and live performances brought new energy to older parts of the city. This latest edition continues that approach by using public spaces and familiar streets as places for creativity and community gathering.
Part of the proceeds from the event will be donated by the participating artists and L’On Gallery to the Foundation for the Blind with Multiple Disabilities in Ram Inthra.
Open daily from 2pm to 10pm, Bangkok Art Walk offers a relaxed way to experience art outside a formal gallery environment. Visitors can walk through the flower market, listen to live music and discover new artists at their own pace, all within one of Bangkok’s most recognisable historic districts.
