If you’re looking for some music to your ears, German baritone saxophonist Kira Linn’s Linntet will be performing an exciting mix of styles ranging from jazz to pop, indie to electro, neo-soul and R&B, or somewhere between authentic jazz gesture, neo-soul romanticism and latent-irreverent Nintendo pop. Using her voice for the first time, Linn’s new album surrounds concepts of anger, powerlessness, strength, diversity and freedom creating a contrasting and intriguing program.
