Loewe just dropped its Paula’s Ibiza 2026 collection, and yes, it’s giving summer vibes. Known for leather craftsmanship, Loewe flips nature, shapes and lines into playful and unexpected designs. But what really caught our eye? An exclusive Thailand-only item inspired by a Thai flower, the national bloom, Ratchaphruek or dok khun (Cassia fistula).
A charm, a mini bag accessory, designed to hold tiny essentials like Thai inhalers, in that can’t-look-away bright yellow and another one in green. Officially a national symbol since 2001, alongside the Thai elephant and Sala Thai, the Ratchaphruek represents unity, prosperity and the warmth of Thai spirit. It even ties to King Bhumibol Adulyadej’s birthday, making it deeply symbolic for Thai people.
Blooming from February to May, the flower shows up everywhere, roadsides, parks, neighbourhoods, basically Thai summer in full colour, and Loewe totally channels that energy.
Paula’s Ibiza 2026 is Loewe’s annual summer-focused collection, with this year centred on flowing silhouettes, crochet craftsmanship, wicker bags and experimental leather designs, created by Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez.

The creation of an exclusive line rooted in Thai culture echoes the brand’s focus on craftsmanship and cultural narrative. The brand, also a campaign to celebrate Songkran, depicting the symbol of festive holidays like family reunions, temple offerings for fresh beginnings and respect to elders. The combination of everyday Thai objects, such as the inhaler, with floral symbolism beautifully presents a contemporary interpretation of tradition. By incorporating Thai local elements and cultural aspects, it positions Thailand within a wider international context.
Following the recent lotus trend over the past week, another Thai flower now appears through a modern lens, marking a refreshing lead into the Thai New Year and a renewed celebration of Thainess.
