A Thousand Worlds Within River City Bangkok

No Chinese New Year festival at Yaowarat this year, but don’t stress. Instead of a full-scale celebration, the entire street will be transformed with colourful light installations.
The annual glowing spectacle is set to return under the theme “Ride the Fortune, Share the Future”, marking the 51st anniversary of Thai-Chinese friendship.
It’s the Year of the Horse – the Fire Horse, in fact – and there’s no better way to kick it off than with dazzling light displays.
Visitors can stroll through Yaowarat and soak in the jazzy radiance of vibrant light installations lining the street.
From lantern displays to immersive light features, the light installations reflect the spirit of the Fire Horse, a symbol of virility, confidence, and determination to keep moving forward.
The light installations will run along Yaowarat Road, from Odeon Circle to Chalerm Buri Intersection, from 7 February to 1 March.
The street comes alive each evening from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM, inviting visitors to experience Yaowarat after dark.
More updates and details can be found on the Samphanthawong District Office page.
