Once again, Bangkokians will get to admire masterpieces of Dutch post-impressionist painter Vincent Van Gogh through an immersive experience. The exhibition will be held at IconSiam from March 31–July 31, 2023.
Having dazzled over 8.5 million visitors across 80 cities worldwide, Van Gogh Alive is a chance to plunge yourself into the life and works of the artist. The stimulating experience offers visitors the chance to appreciate the show through a symphony of light, colour, and sound technology combined with design to make it feel you are immersed in a world of art.
The exhibition is for adults and children alike where audiences engage in a manner that transcends traditional installations. You’ll get to explore the work and life of this prolific artist during the period 1880 to 1890 as well as interpret his thoughts, feelings and state of mind during his time in Arles, Saint Rémy and Auvers-sur-Oise, the locations where he created many of his timeless masterpieces.

His artwork is showcased in hyper-fine detail while photographs and videos have also been augmented with Van Gogh’s works to demonstrate his sources of inspiration. With over 3,000 images occupying giant screens and even the floor, viewers are hypnotised with vibrant colours and vivid details. A digital immersive experience doesn’t get any better than this.
Van Gogh Alive is currently on display in Frankfurt, Nagoya, and Kuala Lumpur. The exhibition is coming to Bangkok on March 31 and will be on display until July 31, 2023 at the Attraction Hall, IconSiam, 6th Floor.
