Called BE Health, the collaboration will focus on improving the lives and health of Thailand’s community of autistic youths

Last month, Sindhorn Kempinski Hotel Bangkok and Siam Kempinski Bangkok teamed up with the Autistic Thai Foundation to launch a project called BE Health. The scheme supports, promotes, and develops the quality of life and health of autistic children in the country. The initiative is in line with Kempinski Hotels’ corporate social responsibility goals to enrich the lives and health of local communities with a Glocal (Think Globally While Acting Locally) outlook.

The launch of BE Health took place at the Lobby of Sindhorn Kempinski Bangkok on December 22, 2022, with Siam Kempinski managing director Richard Schestak and Chusak Chantayanon, president of the Autistic Thai Foundation, as key figures presiding over the event. Other attendees included Siam Sindhorn managing director Chalaluck Bunnag, the deputy managing director, Chonpreya Pacharaswate, and Thaddaeus Weiss, who manages Sindhorn Kempinski.

The hotels organized activities to raise funds for the Autistic Thai Foundation, particularly for medical equipment and financial assistance for the children under the foundation and their families. At the event, guests enjoyed a solo piano performance by Jet Visetnut, or “Nong Kong”, who is an autistic pianist with talented skills in music and art. Special needs students also presented their artistic talents in painting and drawing. Some artistic works were sold to raise further funds for the foundation.
