Munin Pongsapan is Dean and Associate Professor of the Faculty of Law at Thammasat University. Munin’s passion for education led him to become a lecturer at Thammasat University in 2003. He earned a scholarship to obtain a Master’s and Doctorates in Law, respectively at the University of Cambridge and the University of Edinburgh. Since then, he has taught, researched, and published extensively. During his PhD studies, Munin became the second Thai lawyer to publish with the Oxford University Press, earning him a reputation at international level. On his return to Thailand in 2013, he became the first Director of the International LLB Programme at Thammasat University and was appointed director of the LLM Programme in Business Law. Currently Chairman of the Council of Legal Education, Munin has co-edited the book “Thai Legal History: From Traditional to Modern Law” to be published by Cambridge University Press. He is Co-Editor in Chief of the Thai Legal Studies, the first English-language law journal focusing on Thai law and a subject editor of the internationally accredited Asian Journal of Comparative Law.
