A former journalist at Reuters and DPA, Cod knows the importance of fostering change through freedom of speech and education. Although he often expresses himself with a hint of sarcasm and distinctive banter, he takes it seriously when it comes to issues surrounding change and the challenges of bringing about a free and fair society in this country. Not only is he proud of having put Thai Enquirer firmly on the media scene despite the pandemic, he has also managed to complete the New York Times crossword without Wikipedia. He collects old copies of the Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam because “they speak to the perseverance of art and culture through the darkest days of totality.” The best advice he has received? “Always have clean socks, write like you speak, and never go against a Sicilian when death is on the line.” Check his Codcast for more Cod.
