Founding Partner, YouTrip Thailand
Industry : Business
Juthasree “June” Kuvinichkul’s ventures share a practical instinct: technology matters most when it makes everyday life easier. As Founding Partner of Grab Thailand, she helped launch a service that changed how people move around cities. She has since applied similar thinking to the way travellers manage money.
As Founding Partner of YouTrip Thailand, the Harvard Business School graduate has helped build the business around a multi-currency travel wallet designed to make overseas spending simpler and more transparent. Its expanding offer includes what the company describes as Thailand’s first invitation-only premium metal travel card, aimed at frequent travellers.
Yet June’s remit stretches beyond technology and fintech. She is also actively involved in Alumet, her family’s aluminium business, as well as the family’s investments and long-term stewardship. She is a Founding Partner of 156 Wealth, a multi-family office. That gives her an unusual vantage point: experience in fast-moving digital ventures alongside the particular demands of building enduring family enterprises.
Across both worlds, she argues for a broader definition of business value, one that includes communities as well as shareholders. Her work with business families and entrepreneurs likewise emphasises collaboration, responsible leadership and sustainable growth. For June, commercial success is not diminished by social purpose. The more interesting challenge is designing businesses in which the two reinforce each other.
