Fulbright scholar Chris graduated with a master’s degree in antitrust law and economics from UC Berkeley, during which time he was also president of the Student Organisation of Advance Legal
Studies. He co-founded DC Capital LLC and also embarked on a political career as co-founder of Future Forward Party. Seeing the lack of access to hospital treatment for Covid-19 victims which often led to unwarranted deaths, he set up Zen-dai volunteer group in April 2020 to provide transportation and access for Covid patients to get tested or treated. Pick-up trucks, vans, mobile phones were rounded up from friends to set up a call centre and delivery system, offering hope to those who could not reach government facilities. They also set up Zen-dai House as a hospitel for patients for whom home quarantine was not an option. Within two months, Zen-dai had completed over 2,000 Covid shuttles, and helped over 1,500 patients.
