Sustainability can sound abstract. At Tan-Khun Organic Farm, Amnart Reansoi turns it into practical choices: how livestock is raised, what goes into its feed, how farmers are supported and what gets measured along the way.
As founder and CEO, Amnart has built a certified organic livestock business around collaboration with more than 100 farming families. Rather than simply buying from them, Tan-Khun provides technical support, training and guaranteed purchase agreements, helping producers move from conventional agriculture towards verified regenerative organic practices while building greater economic security.
Innovation extends to what the farm’s organically certified poultry eats. Alternative feed ingredients include black soldier fly larvae and aquaculture by-products, reducing dependence on imported corn and soy while putting materials that might otherwise go to waste back into productive use.
Amnart’s ambitions reach beyond organic certification. His approach encompasses regenerative agriculture, animal welfare and carbon tracking, including efforts to monitor Scope 3 emissions throughout the supply chain. Underpinning it is a belief that lasting change depends on trust, shared knowledge and long-term relationships rather than isolated interventions.
The result is a model in which environmental responsibility and rural livelihoods are treated as complementary goals. By making farmers partners in the transition, Amnart is helping demonstrate what a more resilient, locally rooted food system for Thailand could look like.
