Carrying the weight of two of the country’s oldest and largest restaurant chains on her elegant shoulders, Natalie Phanphensophon, COO of Mango Tree Worldwide and Coca Holdings International, has taken the family legacy to new heights in an increasingly competitive industry. In addition to 15 outlets in Thailand, Coca boasts restaurants in 17 other countries. Making her mark, the 34-year-old—who holds a degree in nutrition and food science from King’s College London—has added luxury catering and event organisation to business operations. A former trainee at chef Heston Blumenthal’s famed Fat Duck restaurant at Bray in the UK, today Natalie is combining her background in nutrition with her family’s emphasis on clean produce.“At Coca almost all our food is organic. We procure ingredients only from trusted suppliers. We also grow our own vegetables and cultivate our own rice in Korat,” she says. “We will continue to represent healthy Thai cuisine in major cities across the globe.”
