When this tall, gawky young soldier nicknamed Act—a member of the Royal Thai Army Band Department—took to the stage to sing "Lap Ta" [Close Your Eyes] for The Golden Song Contest Season One, there was hardly a dry eye in the house. Performing the song as a tribute to his late mother, he delighted both audience and judges with his smooth and effortless falsetto voice. Not surprisingly, he went on to win the contest. Born in Prachinburi Province, he is now back in his hometown and in addition to his military duties he runs a coffee shop and a cactus nursery. Act recently released his first single, "Klang Hua Chai", which is used in the television series "Rak Laek Phop" and produced by Neung Jakkawal Saothongyuttitum under GMM Grammy’s Channel One 31. His tip for contestants of Season Two of Golden Song was to sing from the heart.
