Merging ancient remedies with modern science is what Manusanun “Mew” Leelahongjudha is passionate about. She took the traditional remedies she learned from her grandfather to MIT to find ways to enhance them. Then she and her brothers founded Sudtana, a brand offering not only remedies for the skin but also how to love the way you look naturally. Aside from researching and developing products for Sudtana, she also enjoys traveling around Thailand and finding the finest organic ingredients she can use. More than that, she’s a keen supporter of local farmers who practise environmentally-conscious farming. Indeed Sudtana has partnered with many of them to source ingredients for the brand’s products. Despite the overwhelming message of many beauty products that beauty is skin-deep, Mew wants everyone to feel good in their own skin and forget about what societal norms dictate and instead focus on what makes each of us unique.
