Aukrit is the CEO behind one of Thailand’s most successful and well-known agritech startups, Ricult. Ricult is a multi-awardwinning, venture-backed social enterprise founded by MIT alumni that leverages machine learning and satellite imagery to help farmers increase their yield and their profitability. Currently operating in two countries, Thailand and Pakistan, Ricult’s mission is to lift farmers out of poverty by equipping them with modern tools and know-how. In the past year, despite having to work a lot from home and being restricted from personally visiting farmers, Ricult has managed to scale up their platform to service 500,000 farmers in Thailand, directly impacting these farmers’ communities and livelihoods. Now Aukrit has his sights set on expanding Ricult to 1 million farmers in Thailand and rolling out to nearby countries such as Vietnam and Indonesia.
