Scheherazade / Carmen Suite by Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus

With a century-long successful run since its first debut in Paris, Scheherazade explores the adapted tragedy of One Thousand and One Nights, focusing on its lead female protagonist Scheherazade and the opposing cold-hearted sultan. The other tragedy in the house, Carmen Suite, spotlights Carmen’s flirtatious dance with her two lovers before their impending demise. Marrying these rich retellings makes this ballet performance one to remember.
