Midweek Lunch Indulgences: You’ve Earned It So Treat Yourself at These Top-Rated Restaurants

Treat yourself midweek to French bistro delights, contemporary Japanese donburi and elevated Catalan cuisine.

Koktail handpicks some of our favourite restaurants' new lunch menus. Here are three that we recommend if you think you have worked hard enough to earn a little midweek pat on the back.

Gaston French Bistro

Gaston Bistro introduces Le Comptoir du Chef, also known as the Chef’s counter to their menu. With a selection of dishes perfect for casual group sharing, the Chef’s counter encourages sharing of favourite little treats - just like they do in France. Located at the Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok, the restaurant creates an inviting atmosphere reminiscent of a classic Parisian bistro. French chef David Senia works with a medley of quality imported and local ingredients, resulting in hearty bistro fare including a mini wagyu beef burger using Australian Wagyu accompanied by a homemade brioche bun, classic french dishes like duck rillette, traditional croque monsieur and more. The menu also offers French inspired mocktails such as d'Agrumes, Pomme Basilic, and Punch aux Baies along with diverse cocktail selections.

Headed by chef Cinzia Pernici, the menu is tailored for individual enjoyment for those who are short on time but big on quality. Diners can select two starters and a main course from a variety of Zuma dishes like yakitori and white shrimp tempura. Choices of donburi include spicy beef, salmon teriyaki, black cod, and chilean sea bass, all remodelled to be served on top of steamed rice.
