Thailand’s Favourite Restaurants, in collaboration with the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), introduces season 2 of “Culinary Gems of Thailand”, with six new episodes hosted by Natalie Phanphensophon and Nigel Oakins that venture into the daily lives of Thailand’s most acclaimed chefs as they prepare food for their guests while sharing their points of view.
In this episode Natalie and Nigel meet up with the brightest young face behind the flavours at ADHOC BKK, Chef Pop Pitchakorn Ramabut, who aspired to become a chef at a young age and ADHOC BKK is where she creates a range of innovative new dishes, inspired by the concept of ‘sustainability’ and 'genuinity’, with a culinary team that really understands the taste of Thai cuisine. Drawing from family recipes, cultural heritage, locally-sourced ingredients, and relationships with organic farmers, Chef Pop's pride in Thai food goes beyond words. She transforms Thai food into the true embodiment of Thai cultures.
