Ready your gin and orange peels for Negroni Week 2026, running 21–27 September. Bar registration is officially open for Bangkok venues.

From 21-27 September, the annual global celebration of everyone’s favourite bitter red drink is back for its 14th year. Negroni Week 2026 is here, and bar sign-ups are currently open as Bangkok’s drink scene gets ready to join in. No doubt your favourite negroni spot is probably already on the list.

Imbibe Magazine started Negroni Week back in 2013 to raise money for charity through a classic cocktail. It’s come a long way since then, growing from a hundred participating bars to thousands around the world. Today, they work with Campari and the non-profit Slow Food to support sustainable causes and bring people together.

Whether classic or twisted, simple orange peel or whole citrus slice, all negronis are welcome. Legend has it the drink started in the early 20th century when Count Camillo Negroni asked his bartender to stiffen up his usual Americano – Campari, sweet vermouth and soda. The bartender swapped the soda for gin, and the rest is history. Part of the charm is how easy it is to tweak, giving bartenders endless room to play around with new ideas.

Keep your eyes peeled (no pun intended) for participating bars as the week gets closer, as you’ll want to plan a few stops. And if you happen to run a venue or work behind the bar, there’s still plenty of time to get involved. Head over to www.negroniweek.com to register your spot, join the global community and get in on the action.
