Applications are now open for Netflix REEL LIFE Season 4, offering free training, industry mentorship and paid opportunities for aspiring film crew members in Thailand.

Dreaming of calling a film set your workplace? Netflix is once again opening the doors to aspiring film crew members with the return of Netflix REEL LIFE Season 4, a free training programme designed to help newcomers step into Thailand’s film and television industry.

Participants will spend one day learning online before joining an intensive two day, one night workshop in Bangkok. The programme focuses on four key production roles including Production Assistant, Post Production Assistant, Assistant Script Supervisor and Accounting Assistant, giving participants a chance to understand how a professional set really works. The learning does not stop there. Successful applicants may go on to join paid on the job training for between five and 12 months, earning THB 20,000 per month while working alongside experienced crews. It is also a chance to build connections that could lead to future opportunities with Netflix and its production partners.

Applications are open to Thai nationals aged 22 and above who are no longer studying, with no restrictions on educational background or field of study. Applicants must be available for the online session on 5 September, followed by the workshop in Bangkok on 9 and 10 September.

To apply, candidates need to complete the online application, submit either a short introduction video or a written personal statement of no more than 3,000 characters, and include a CV or portfolio. Only 50 participants will be selected, with successful applicants announced on 17 August.

Applications are open until 31 July 2026, and there is no fee to apply or take part. Netflix will cover all workshop expenses, including accommodation and meals. Those travelling from outside Bangkok and the surrounding provinces will also receive additional support for travel and accommodation.
