At the 2026 BYD Hyrox Bangkok, Thai celebrities championed a healthier Thailand, turning their participation into advocacy that inspires both fitness buffs and casual workout enthusiasts to care for their health.

The 2026 BYD Hyrox Bangkok, held March 20–22, wrapped up to roaring cheers from fitness fanatics and quite a few starstruck fans, as Thai celebrities brought their own brand of glitz and glimmer (not necessarily because of their star power, but mainly because they sweated buckets) to the gruelling hybrid race.

This year’s edition smashed records, drawing over 17,500 competitors, nearly double last year’s 8,700 and cementing its spot as Bangkok’s biggest Hyrox yet. Its rising popularity stems from its accessibility: you don’t have to be a trained professional to compete, but you do have to be crazy about working out and pushing your physical limits.

What Is Hyrox?

Hyrox is a global indoor fitness showdown combining running with high-intensity CrossFit workouts. This year, competitors could take on Singles, Singles Pro, Doubles, Doubles Pro or Relay Teams, while the Adaptive category ensured athletes with functional impairments had a space to shine. Each station challenges competitors to their max, sometimes revealing just how much they’re capable of.

But it’s not just about working out. This year also featured Hyrox House, complete with delicious food and refreshing beverages, live entertainment (including DJ sets) and other activities. It’s the perfect combination of the excitement of a festival with the energy of a fitness event. And the Recovery Longue was just that. It gave athletes a chance to recover, including saunas and ice baths, the latter of which are pretty trendy in the fitness world.

Thai Celebrities Hit the Hyrox Course

Koktail applauds these Thai celebrities for championing a healthier Thailand and embodying the nation’s image of wellness. Their participation goes beyond fun and athleticism; it’s almost a form of advocacy, inspiring both fitness buffs and casual workout enthusiasts to take part and pay closer attention to their health and well-being.
