The Devil Wears Prada 2 just dropped its first teaser, the sequel to the 2006 original. North American theatres, 1 May 2026.
The setup: Miranda Priestly (Meryl Streep) is battling it out with Emily Charlton (Emily Blunt), her former assistant turned rival executive. They’re fighting for advertising revenue as print media falls apart and Miranda edges closer to retirement. Andy Sachs (Anne Hathaway)? Right there in the teaser, still standing beside Miranda. Of course she is!
Set to Madonna’s Vogue, the teaser keeps the plot under wraps but delivers one perfect moment: red heels clicking through Runway’s corridors, Miranda stepping into an elevator, and Andy sliding in just as the doors close. Miranda’s response? “Took you long enough.”

Stanley Tucci returns as Nigel, alongside Tracie Thoms and Tibor Feldman reprising their roles. New faces joining include Lucy Liu, Justin Theroux, BJ Novak, Simone Ashley, Pauline Chalamet and Rachel Bloom. Kenneth Branagh also joins the cast.

Nearly twenty years after the original became a cultural phenomenon, the gang’s back. And if those Milan Fashion Week sightings of Streep and Tucci in character at Dolce & Gabbana are anything to go by, this sequel’s playing directly in the contemporary fashion world.
