Nerd out by the Chao Phraya River at the free BOTLC Book Fair 2026 this 10-12 July for books, workshops and food stalls at the Bank of Thailand Learning Centre. 

Calling all nerds! Dust off your tote bag and prepare your bank account: the 2026 BOTLC Book Fair is returning to the Bank of Thailand Learning Centre from July 10-12.

Whether you’re a bibliophile or just a fan of the idea of reading by a scenic river, this is your chance to browse books, hit up some workshops and embrace your inner book-geek alongside the Chao Phraya River.

You’ll get an insider’s look into the publishing world, have the chance to chat with writers, and explore a creative marketplace loaded with art, crafts and cool postcards. Best of all, a fantastic lineup of food stalls will be waiting – because while books offer excellent food for thought, your stomach requires the real thing.

High on the agenda is a riverside DIY painting session (go ahead, play Monet and let your emotions explode onto the canvas) and a book blind date. The rules are simple: wrap your old favourite book in plain paper, drop a few cryptic clues and pass it on to a lucky stranger who will hopefully obsess over the story just as much as you did.

Head over to 273 Samsen Road, Wat Sam Phraya, Phra Nakhon between 10am and 6pm. Admission is completely free, which is perfect because you’ll need every spare baht for your haul. Go ahead and admit it: you can never have too many books.
