We can go Muay Thai shorts for Muay Thai shorts! British drill rapper Central Cee (aka Oakley Neil Caesar-Su) just turned a routine trim into a fashion debut, rocking the never-before-seen HUMAN MADE Bangkok-only collection like it’s lightwork. First one to ever do it – but not without a Richard Mille on his wrist, of course.
Although the streetwear brand hails from Japan, it’s gearing up to open its first store and curry shop at Central Embassy tomorrow (28 March). With Bangkok going full throttle into its fashion era, HUMAN MADE’s entry into the Thai market with a playful twist on national motifs just adds fuel to the capital’s style cred.
Central Cee’s white tee featuring that pink graphic elephant comes in at THB 3,590, while the Dry Alls Muay Thai shorts go for THB 10,650. Not exactly pocket change, but if you’ve been plotting to steal his look, here’s your chance to cop them. It’s prime time for the drip with Songkran around the corner, which means your outfit better look good and dry quickly.
HUMAN MADE: Tokyo Streetwear, Human-Approved
After leaving A Bathing Ape (BAPE), Nigo (Tomoaki Nagao) launched HUMAN MADE in 2010. Known for its exceptional Japanese craftsmanship and limited-edition appeal, the brand also makes waves through high-profile collaborations, with Louis Vuitton immediately coming to mind.
HUMAN MADE doesn’t just link up with other brands. It also tapped musical heavyweights like J-Hope and teamed up with American designer KAWS (Brian Donnelly), whose latest KAWS MADE collaboration is coming to Bangkok. Even Pharrell Williams has been spotted rocking it. It proves the brand isn’t just about celebrity clout, but also about making wearable artistry, as it were.
Planning to Hit the HUMAN MADE Bangkok Launch Tomorrow?
Here’s what you need to know. Entry to HUMAN MADE BANGKOK on Saturday, 28 March, will be decided via an on-site lottery held the same day. Registration is open from 7–7.30am at Central Embassy. Grab what you can!
