Janejira Phanvichian, famously loved and known as Jibbie Rubie, is the first Thai makeup artist nominated for an Emmy for HBO’s The White Lotus Season 3.

She is the very woman who crafted Lisa Manoban’s iconic “Full-Moon Party” look.

On set, she blends Thai-inspired nuance with modern glamour. The Emmy nomination puts her and Thai makeup on the world stage. Her skills and creativity show that local talent can go anywhere and really shine.

A Chulalongkorn art graduate, Jibbie began with fashion shows and teaching before the NYX Face Awards Thailand launched her global career. Back in Bangkok, she became the secret weapon for Urassaya Sperbund, Davika Hoorne, Margie Rasri, Ling Ling Kwong, and many more stars.
