Culture Day Plans? Start with these 10 Newly Awarded Bangkok Museums

If you’ve been waiting for a sign to add a little culture to your calendar–this is it.

The National Discovery Museum Institute has officially introduced the Museum Star 2025 awards, recognising 10 museums and learning centres in Bangkok for their exceptional service quality and distinctive identity. This new initiative aims to elevate Thailand’s museums to international standards and support their development as destinations for education and cultural tourism. The Museum Star designation is not simply an award but a benchmark of excellence, granted to institutions that demonstrate both operational strength and a clear curatorial voice.
