For its latest sneaker collection, Italian fashion house Zegna has partnered up with designer Daniel Bailey (MrBailey), the founder of dynamic footwear design studio Conceptkicks. The match made in heaven resulted in Zegna’s Triple StitchTM Sneakers, which will first debut in the Italian maison’s summer 2023 fashion show. In the meantime, Zegna has provided snapshots for fans to anticipate.

Inspired by the hiking grounds of Oasi Zegna, it is no surprise that the collection expounds elements of nature. At first glance, the kicks appear to be forged straight out of molten lava. However, its crackling texture is actually achieved through re-contextualising suede and leather.
For extra comfort, the shoe is triple-wrapped with a single strip of lightweight leather and also comes with a removable insole. Adding to its beloved worn-in effect, the Triple StitchTM Sneakers borrow the traditional Japanese wood preservation technique yakisugi for a carbonised-inspired finishing touch. Hammering the details home, the sneakers feature intricately woven triple cross lace-up and come in black, white, grey, and Zegna’s signature colour Vicuña.
The Triple StitchTM Sneakers will be available in select international Zegna stores from early January 2023.
