Using fire as a metaphor for love isn’t something unheard of, but it’s still moving to see the metaphor literally in Tanapol Kaewpring’s new photo exhibition. Quoting Joan Crawford—“Love is a fire. But whether it is going to warm your heart or burn down your house, you can never tell.”—the exhibition plays with themes of how love, like fire, can easily make you feel passionate and consume you whole at the same time.
