Bringing unknown and unique up-and-coming fashion brands to Thailand, Bub Verawat Chinpilas is one of the key people driving the country’s fashion scene forward. The creative director and co-founder of the B-Store multi-brand outlet came from a background far removed from the industry he thrives in today. Graduating from Chulalongkorn University’s the faculty of economics, he never gave up on his passion for fashion. He regularly trots the globe during fashion weeks to keep abreast of the latest styles and future trends and says he is inspired by architecture and art because they offer contrasting ideas. Bub’s current role is to oversee the company’s creative direction and the selection of products and he is proud that he’s able to make an imprint in the Thai fashion scene by offering a view into a different side of the rag-trade. He also finds time to oversee family-owned skincare brand Meshima.
