Supasit “Tap” Kokpol

Supasit “Tap” Kokpol

Chef/Founder, AdHoc

Industry : Food

Recently appearing as a successful challenger on Iron Chef Thailand season nine, Supasit Kokpol, or chef Tap, has an affinity for the culinary arts. He received his formal training at the Le Cordon Bleu and then served his culinary apprenticeship at lauded restaurants in England and Hong Kong. He established his own restaurant in Australia but decided to return to Thailand to open AdHoc, a chef’s table dining outlet. The chic restaurant in Phromphong features minimal Nordic interiors but actually serves great Thai food. For the executive chef and owner the devil is in the details and he is meticulous in his use of local seasonal ingredients. He delights in hidingrare and exotic flavours such ascitrus aurantium, a variety of bitter orange, in his dishes. He also mixes up his traditional offerings with elevated street food made with a twist.
