Bartender Praphakorn “Pok” Konglee claimed the 2021 Bacardi Legacy title with his “Out of Sight” cocktail which was inspired by
his personal journey to fatherhood. This made Thailand the first country to win the Bacardi Legacy competition twice in a row. With
over seven years experience in the food and beverage industry now, he previously played football for a living, but sadly, he couldn’t
go further in the sport due to a knee injury. That is when he landed his first bartending job at a small resort in his hometown, Koh
Samui. Gaining his experience there, he is now bartending at Thonglor speakeasy, Find the Locker Room. With high hopes of
ending the stigma around becoming successful as a mixologist in Thailand, Pok strongly believes that if you want to be successful in
life, the key is being happy and passionate with what you’re doing. The Secret Life of Walter Mitty is his go-to film for a morale boost.
