Pakpoum “Bobby” Mahasith worked in Paris in the fashion and cosmetics industry for almost 20 years. Family obligations drew him back to Thailand, and after realising the extent of pollution created by the industries of his past, he felt a sense of responsibility to help conserve the environment. Bobby’s company, Ecolotech, specialises in “The Save Earth Technology”, inventing products and business models to help consumers and business owners seamlessly switch to eco-friendly alternatives. Among these is a system that supplies organic drinking water directly produced from air, using AI technology to monitor the quality. Another project involves an innovative form of public transportation. Although his work has been noticed by many businesses overseas, he knows that in the real world, global warming startups take a back seat to those in money-related fields such as crypto-currencies. His drastic call to hack the old systems by creating technology to disrupt greenwashing has earned him the moniker “The Eco Warrior''''. It is therefore a great source of pride for him that his image is now hanging in the hall of honour at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture de Versailles as one of many around the world who are working to save our planet.
