Sophie Schuemers-Rogers is the Thai-born, Swiss-based founder
of jewellery brand Pacharee. Originally a clothing line, it was
pairing her mum’s baroque pearls for a shoot that shifted the
brand’s focus towards jewellery. Sophie’s father is the wizard
of all gems who invented new stone cutting and heat treatment
techniques, passing his passion and eye for raw natural beauty on
to his daughter. Sophie believes she can inspire smaller brands
especially students and small-scale entrepreneurs around the
world. After a successful launch in Bangkok, her collection got
picked up by Barney’s in New York and is now worn by fashionistas
around the world, including Tamara Kalinic, Bella Hadid, Jessica
Kahawaty, Ploy Cherman, and Krit Amnuaydechkorn. Regardless
of the challenges she faces, Pacharee is blessed with a small but
dedicated team able to achieve the qualityshe aims for. Pacharee
focuses on the wonderful characteristics within each pearl and
gemstone in ways that are respectful to their origin yet bring out
their natural elegance.
