Managing his family’s mattress and bedding company, Nophol saw an opportunity to help small hospitality businesses with limited budgets provide quality mattresses and at the same time deal with the problem of disposed mattresses that end up as land-fill. He founded Nornnorn as the world''s first circular economy-based mattress subscription service in 2018. He is proud to have been selected as one of 12 finalists out of 260 tourism start-ups from 70 countries in the World Tourism Forum Lucerne Start-up Innovation Camp 2020 in the UAE. Nornnorn has also recently been selected as a partner of Climate Neutral Now, a UN Climate Change initiative that aims to achieve a climate neutral world by 2050. Nophol is also active as a UNICEF Thailand NextGen Champion in a new initiative that invites big corporations to provide disenfranchised migrant and refugee youth in Thailand with vocational training and job opportunities.
